Craig A. Tomlins attended the University of San Diego where he graduated magna cum laudewith a B.A. in Political Science. During his Junior Year, Mr. Tomlins studied abroad for a semester in Milan, Italy. Mr. Tomlins then attended the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, where he earned his law degree with great distinction (J.D. 2010). There he was a member of the Order of the Coif and the Traynor Honor Society. He also was an extern with the Office of the Attorney General and received five Witkin awards. Mr. Tomlins was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2010 and is licensed to practice in all California courts, the United States District Court for the Eastern and Northern Districts, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
Prior to law school, Mr. Tomlins was a Judicial Administration Fellow at the California Court of Appeal, Second Appellate District, and a Legislative Analyst with the Office of the State Court Administrator, Oregon Judicial Department. Prior to joining Gurnee Mason Rushford Bonotto & Forestiere, LLP, Mr. Tomlins has represented public and private entities and employees in employment matters, personal injury, products and premises liability matters, civil rights, and public entity law. Mr. Tomlins has also served as the Chief Negotiator for a local community college district during labor negotiations.
While not in the office or a courtroom, Mr. Tomlins enjoys spending time in the outdoors, fly fishing, golfing, cooking and traveling.
