Daniel Platt was born and raised in the East Bay area of California. He attended the University of Colorado, Boulder, from which he graduated in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications. Mr. Platt then returned to California where he attended the McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento. There, he volunteered his services to the community both at the public defender’s office and at the student bankruptcy clinic while concentrating his legal studies in the areas of business and intellectual property law. Mr. Platt was admitted to the California State Bar and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of California in 2016.
Following his admission to the Bar, Mr. Platt joined an Oakland civil defense firm specializing in complex litigation. Mr. Platt’s prior experience also includes several years advocating for plaintiffs in personal injury matters, so he benefits from the unique perspective of having litigated from both sides of the aisle. He joined our firm in 2020 and brings his diverse background and experience to bear in protecting the interests of his clients and providing tailored and decisive legal representation.
